A STORY ABOUT RAHAB AND HER JOURNEY RAISING A SPECIAL NEED KID

This is a story about a  lady named rahab and her jorney into motherhood.Rahab was overjoyed when she learned that she was going to be a mother. She had always dreamed of having a child of her own and couldn't wait to hold her baby in her arms.As the months passed, Rahab prepared for the arrival of her child. She painted the nursery and stocked up on diapers and baby clothes. She even took childbirth classes to make sure she was ready for the big day. When the time finally came, Rahab went into labor and gave birth to a handsome  baby boy and named him Jeremy. She was filled with joy as she held her child for the first time, but that joy was short-lived.As the days went by, it became clear that something was wrong with Jeremy. He was not meeting the developmental milestones that other babies his age were reaching, and he seemed to be in constant pain.

After numerous visits to the doctor, it was determined that Jeremy had cerebral palsy. This news was devastating for Rahab, as she knew that raising a child with special needs would be a challenge. She had to quit her job as the numerous doctors appointments couldnt fit with the jobs schedule.Despite the difficulties, Rahab was determined to give her son the best life possible. She spent countless hours researching treatments and therapies that might help her son. She also worked with specialists and therapists to ensure that Jeremy was receiving the best care posible.

As the years passed, Jeremy made slow  progress. It was a long and difficult journey, but Rahab never gave up hope. She loved her son with all her heart and was determined to do everything in her power to help him thrive. Thru hard work and determination, Rahab was able to provide Jeremy with the care and support she needed. And despite the many challenges she faced, Rahab remained grateful for the blessing of being a mother. As Jeremy grew older, Rahab continued to face new challenges especially in movement bas Jeremy was now big to be carried around on the back. There were days when it seemed like nothing was going right, and Rahab struggled to keep up with all the appointments and therapies. But despite the hardships, Rahab remained determined to give her son the best life possible. She worked closely with Jeremys doctors and therapists to come up with a treatment plan that would help her son reach his full potential. Rahab also had to learn how to advocate for her sons needs, both in the medical world and in the community. She spent countless hours talking to school officials, government agencies, and other parents of children with special needs, trying to find the support and resources her son needed.

At the age of five despite not being able to sit, stand or move on his own Jeremy began to atter some words this really suprised Rahab. as time went by he started expressing himself in English and  and started learning basic things on his own. Jeremy could count, spell ,and even ask for what he needed. This came as a shock to Rahab and was gratefull to God for the achievement her son had made. Despite all the ups and downs, Rahab  loved  Jeremy deeply and was proud of all the progress he had made over the years. And although raising a child with special needs had its challenges, Rahab knew that it had also brought her many blessings and had enriched her life in ways she could never have imagined.

Rahab knew that the journey was far from over and that Jeremy  would always face challenges due to his condition and Rahab would always need to be there to support and advocate for him. But she also knew that Jeremy was strong and capable, and that she would be able to overcome any obstacles that came his way. she looks back on the few years she had spent raising her son, Rahab couldn't help but feel a sense of pride. She had faced countless challenges and made countless sacrifices, but it is all worth it to see her son grow into the amazing young boy .Rahab knew that she would always be there for her son, no matter what the future held. She was thankful for the love and joy that Jeremy had brought into her life

I hope Rahabs story reaches all the moms with special need kids and let them know that these kids are a special gift from God and have the potencial to be great people in this world as disability is not inability. Thus we should give them all the love we have.
